Projects up to £75k
We have a simpler process for projects up to £75K.
A decision should take 8 weeks from when you submit your application.
You can submit at any time.

We will acknowledge receipt of your application within one working day.
Assessment
We will assess your application. We may be in contact with you during this time to clarify something or to request more information.
Internal panel
Assessment recommendations will be considered by Groundwork UK’s internal panel.
Notification
We will contact you to let you know whether your application is ineligible, successful or unsuccessful within 8 weeks.

Outcome
Ineligible or Unsuccessful
If your application is unsuccessful or ineligible we will give you the reasons why, so you can decide whether or not to reapply.
Successful
If your application is successful we will send you an award offer letter.
Projects over £75001 – £250,000
Projects between £75,001 – £250,000 are assessed by an independent panel and have a more complex application process.

If your Stage 1 Application Form was successful you will be invited to complete an online Stage 2 Application form. Consider any feedback we give you when you are completing the stage 2 form.

Independent panel
All applications for over £75,000 that are recommended for approval, will be considered by the Independent Panel.
Notification
We will contact you to let you know whether your application is ineligible, successful or unsuccessful within 16 weeks. If you were unsuccessful we will let you know why.
