2020 – 2021 Annual Review

In 2020-2021, over £3.6m has been awarded to 45 CEF & BLEF projects that support communities and business along Phase One of the route. 

The report also highlights how some projects have been able to adapt their delivery during the Covid-19 pandemic to offer further support to their communities or deliver in a different way.

2019 – 2020 Annual Review

Groundwork, independent administrators of Phase One of HS2 Community and Environment Fund (CEF) and Business and Local Economy Fund (BLEF) have released the HS2 Fund Annual Review for 2019/20.

In this last year, 47 CEF & BLEF projects have received funding with communities and businesses along Phase 1 benefitting to the tune of just over £2.1 million. The report includes case studies of how funding is supporting towns and cities along the Phase One line of route.

2018 – 2019 Annual Review

In 2018-2019, 49 CEF & BLEF projects have received funding with communities and businesses along Phase 1 benefitting to the tune of close to £3 million.
